Rules of Auction:
- Only registered users older than 18 can take part in the auction.
- Eduard sets the beginning and the end of the auction, as well as the call price.
- Bidding is only possible when auction is active.
- User bids the highest sum, which he wants to pay for the auction item.
- User wins if the bid is the highest of all bids.
- The real price of auctioned item is the second highest bid +1USD
- If two users bid the same sums, only the first one counts.
- Eduard reserves the right to verify capacity of users to pay auctioned item.
- If user is not cabable of paying auctioned item, item goes to the next user with the second highest bid. Etc.
How to play:
- Logon to www.eduard.com
- On the auction page, place your highest bid into the textfield and click "Place a bid"
- The list of bids refreshes.
- If you can see the text saying "Your bid is the highest at this moment.", you are potential winner until other user overbids your bid. (Check your supremacy with "refresh page" button regularly)
- If you can see the text saying "Bid is too low." , you have to raise your bid to be able to make a bid.
- If no text generates, after making the bid, it means, that your bid wasn't the highest, or your bid has been overbidden and you are not the first anymore.
- If you have supremacy, you will pay for the auctioned item price, which is the second highest (right behind you) +1USD
Practicaly:
- Call price is 30USD
- User A bids 100USD.
- User A turns into potential winner and price raises to 31USD(text informing about his supremacy generates).
- User B bids 50USD. He doesn't turn into a potential winner and price raises to 51USD.
- At this moment, user A can still win auctioned item, but he would pay 51USD.
- User C bids 500USD (text informing about his supremacy generates.)
- User C turns into potential winner and price raises to 101USD
- User D bids the same as user C - 500USD( text informing about duplicate bid generates).
